,The following is the information we are sending Cricket Teams that are interested in participating in the US T20 Cricket Tournament: The following are the answers to the questions you sent me...Teams from the UAE can participate.What The US T20 Cricket Tournament will provide is listed below.We will write letters and anything else that can facilitate players to obtain Visas to visit the USA.Cricket Council USA will assist you in any way possible...all you have to do is request information & we'll provide it. Thank you for your interest the US T20 Cricket Tournament '09. Please submit your Team's registration to the Tournament. This can be done by visiting our website www.cricketcouncilusa.com and registering online. To ensure your Team's participation in the Tournament, please send the registration fee of $500.00 payable to Cricket Council USA to the following address:Cricket Council USA 6221 West Atlantic BoulevardMargate, Florida 33063 International players are allowed to play in the Tournament. The registration fee is $2,000.00. After the $500.00 deposit, the balance of $1,500.00 is due on January 15, 2009. The US T20 Cricket Tournament is a winner take all Tournament. The winning team will be awarded $100,000.00. There is no prize money for second or third place finishers at this time.
We will provide uniforms, caps and refreshments during the Matches. Teams are responsible for travel, meals & lodging during their stay.We are negotiating with Hotels for the best possible room rates for the players & fans. As soon as we have signed contracts, we will provide the teams with the room rates. Additional information on the Tournament will be provided as it becomes available. The following is the Format for the US T20 Cricket Tournament '09: FIRST ROUND will take place from April 5 - 7, 2009.All 48 participating teams will compete in the first round of the US T20 Cricket Tournament '09. Teams will be divided into FOUR (4) zones (12 Teams per zone). Each Team within the zones will play three (3) matches. The four (4) Teams with the most points within the four zones will proceed to the second round. SECOND ROUND will take place on April 8, 2009.The sixteen (16) Teams that qualify from the First Round will compete in the second round within the four zones. Each zone will have four (4) Teams and each Team will play two matches within its zone. The two Teams with the most points within the Four (4) zones will proceed to the Quater finals. QUATER FINALS will take place on April 9, 2009.The eight (8) Teams that qualify from the Second Round will compete in the Quater finals within the four zones. Each zone will have two (2) Teams. The winners of each zone will proceed to the Semi finals. SEMI FINALS will take place on April 10-11, 2009..The four (4) winners from each quarter finals zone will compete in the Semi finals. FINALS will take place on April 12, 2009.The two (2) winners of the Semi finals will compete in the Finals with the winning Team awarded the $ 100,000 PRIZE MONEY. The US T20 Cricket Tournament '09 is open to all Teams. We've already received registration from 26 Teams from the United States, Canada, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia and the West Indies. IT'S TIME TO PLAY 20/20 CRICKET!!!!!!
